Emma Rossi
Author of One Last Summer.
Emma Rossi lives in the middle of Australia with her wife, children, and a menagerie of animals. She has a love for history and dreams of doing a historical tour around the world or buying a derelict French chateau to renovate. When she isn’t writing you can find her devouring books, spending too many hours daydreaming, obsessing over television shows, or working as a nurse. Emma has always dreamed about becoming an author. It wasn’t until she was a stay at home mum for three years that she decided to use the time to not only raise her wildlings, but to also write her first book (and finish her nursing degree!). When she sat down at her laptop to write there was only one kind of story waiting to be told. She writes to keep a promise she made to herself a long time ago. When she was a teenager and coming to terms with her sexuality she couldn’t find herself in stories. So, she promised herself that one day she would grow up to write books that normalise LGBTQ+ love stories. Emma believes deeply that LGBTQ+ representation is important in books and she wants young queer people to be able to find themselves in her stories.
